Key Responsibilities

- Hot water system installation and servicing

About the Role
We are seeking experienced Mechanical Draftspersons for casual FIFO engagements, supporting site teams with LiDAR scanning, point cloud processing, and SolidWorks-based mechanical drafting during shutdowns and project works.
This role suits candidates who enjoy project-based work and are comfortable operating in active mine site environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform LiDAR scanning of plant and site infrastructure
- Process and register point cloud data
- Develop and modify 3D SolidWorks models based on scan data
- Produce fabrication, installation, and layout drawings
- Work closely with site engineers, supervisors, and trades
- Maintain drawing standards and document control
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Draftsperson in mining or heavy industry
- Strong SolidWorks capability, particularly in weldments and large assemblies
- Experience working with LiDAR / point cloud software and equipment
- Ability to mobilise for FIFO work on short notice
- Strong safety awareness and site communication skills

Applicants should ideally hold:

Strong practical experience may be considered in place of certification for suitable candidates.
